What’s that green stuff? What can possibly have such luminosity and such texture? As KBA illustrates with multiple images by Jon Fabre, this lusciously decorated and fantastic ceiling is swarming with 1.5 million … dead beetles?! That’s right beatles, known as the “jewel beetle” for appropriate reasons… Each and every beetle was hand glued in place with couture altier-like precision to render this contemporary masterpiece befitting to it’s exquisite context.
